Today started out good. I decided that, it should be nice to make a doily, considering, I've crochet for more than 15 years now...and I've never ever knitted a doily! Yeah, yeah, they are kinda grandma-ish, but I kinda like them.
So back to early today:
"babe, have you seen my crochet hook, it's was right here (on the couch) earlier?"
"no, oh wait!...maybe it was that thing the girls where using to fix their stroller with"
"WHAT"
...."is this what you are talking about?"
It was a sad day. A whopping $6 bucks down the drain. Though, not to worry, I splurged another $6, a new book and new thread....ahh, I feel much better, the cure-all...SHOPPING:o)
That's beautiful! I need to learn how to do that.

The other day I caught my 2yr old trying to stick one of my straight knitting needles into her ear. I guess she thought it was a Q-tip(of course that didn't cost me $6 bucks)

Oh yes, shopping is the cure all. I haven't had an incident yet with kids destroying my knitting tools (though I am not sure how considering I have four kids). The doily looks great. Love your crocheted scarf too!
